TIDAL Tidy Toome

6th Jun 2020

TIDAL Toome have asked for our help. Due to the coronavirus the council can not replace the bulbs in the flower beds. So Moneynick Primary School have adopted two of the beds for the coming months. The beds are situated close to The Spar in Toome.  To prepare our beds we have to do the following:

Day 1 - Tuesday 9th June at 1pm

  1. Remove the bulbs in the two beds.
  2. Put the bulbs in bags and return to TIDAL so they can be reused next year.

Day 2 - Date to be confirmed

1. Remove the new flowers from their pots.

2. Plan the flower bed.

3. Plant the new flowers.

Follow Up

The flowers will also need tending during the coming months.

To ensure that we respect social distancing rules and to allow as many families as possible to take part, a rota is essential. If you are interested in taking part on Tuesday 9th June at 1pm please contact the school on 02879650331 or send a message to info@moneynickps.randalstown.ni.sch.uk

This event will be promoted via social media. All safeguarding procedures will be adhered to. If a child's picture is included then their name will not be published.

TIDAL are providing gardening tools, however as I know you are all experienced gardeners you may have gloves and small gardening utensils that you may want to bring along.
