We had amazing fun exploring the snow and ice in our school grounds. Looking at the properties of ice and snow we had the opportunity to discuss water safety during winter months, and how we should act near frozen rivers and lakes. Using fresh snow we created a polar scene and discussed how our actions are changing the landscape and habitat for the animals who live in the polar regions.
