Moneynick Primary School has long established and very successful links with Duneane Primary School, leading the way in Shared Education. During our shared lessons, pupils from each school enjoy a range of educational experiences which foster acceptance and understanding of one another's cultural identity and traditions.
During the academic year 2023/24 Mrs McKeever was our Shared Education teacher and the programme focused on sporting activities which link our two schools. We developed our fundamental skills and focused on being active, an important aspect of the Take 5 Steps to Wellbeing. This concluded with our Annual Shared Sports Day, where mixed teams competed in various team and individual activities.
The pupils from Duneane Primary School were also invited to our Annual Summer Scheme. They enjoyed our fabulous outdoor facilities and array of activities. It was amazing to witness our pupils' friendships flourish and we look forward to our continued partnership next year.
