Children have rights and it is our responsibility to teach them their rights. Mr Chris Quinn, Children’s Commissioner for Northern Ireland invited four pupils along to Antrim Library today to discuss ‘Children Rights’ and how he can can help the children across Northern Ireland. We listened to how the rights of a Child became legislation and with many children from across the borough we discussed how he could help children today. Highlighting the fact that 5,000 children have no homes across Northern Ireland, it was concluded that all children are special and need love.♥️
