Last night we had the honour of attending the Families First Education Awards where we were delighted to be presented with the Inclusive School Community Award. An accolade that captures our school’s living ethos as identified as our area for dissemination during our recent Eti inspection:
“ the forging of a meaningful, wide-ranging community of learning which enriches the children’s learning experiences and enhances their holistic development”.
This award belongs to every member of our school family – a term we often use proudly, as our work is built on deep-rooted partnerships across our community. From the moment you step through our gates, you feel the warmth of a school family where inclusion, belonging, and community are at the heart of everything we do.
We’re deeply grateful to our staff, who go above and beyond every day – not only in the classroom, but through the unseen work behind the scenes that makes these community connections and opportunities possible. Thank you for giving your time, energy and heart to ensure every child feels valued, included and empowered - where every voice matters, and where every child is supported to shine. To achieve this together is the greatest reward of all.
