Accelerated Reading Millionaires

Congratulations to our two Primary 7 pupils who have became AR millionaires reading over one million words this academic year.
Accelerated reading helps to motivate students’ independent reading alongside their class novel and develop a true love for reading choosing from a wide variety of books that we have available in school. Quizzes at the end of each book help monitor and develop comprehension skills which are transferable into their literacy. Personalised and achievable goals are set for each individual child and help encourage them to read. This year all of our children achieved at least one of their termly targets and enjoyed our bouncy castle as their treat. Keep up the good work.
