Today our school was a sea of club and county colours representing every corner of Ireland, as we celebrated our GAA Family, Gaelic Games and Culture. We were honoured to welcome Caolan McGonagle, a key player on the Donegal Senior Football Team, who recently lifted the Anglo Celt Cup representing his county and club Buncrana GAA. Caolan empowered and inspired us by sharing his journey, talking tactics, offering tips on fitness and improvement while highlighting the message 'Stop the Drop' in the participation of our Gaelic Games. A huge thank you to Mrs McKeever for coordinating with Mr Malachy McCann, past pupil and Chairperson of Buncrana CLG, to make this once-in-a-lifetime visit possible for our staff, pupils and GAA family. We wish Caolan and his team mates the very best of luck as they continue their All-Ireland Campaign. Dún na nGall Abú!
