We have excelled in both creativity and imagination to create two outstanding pieces of work to be entered in Garden Show Ireland 2022.
As part of Garden Show Ireland, Primary schools were invited to build a scarecrow to protect the seeds in Antrim Castle Gardens from being gobbled up by the birds! The scarecrows will be displayed along Scarecrow Avenue at Antrim Castle Gardens for all to see during Garden Show Ireland from the 29 April to 1 May 2022. Our scarecrow is based on the Anti-Bullying Message 'One Kind Word'. One kind word can change your day.
We have also prepared a miniature garden for the Garden Show. The theme for the Miniature Garden was ‘Birds, Bees, Bugs & Butterflies’. Our walled garden is created in an upcycled wheelbarrow and contains a wide variety of recycled products e.g. plastic bottles, stones, lollipop sticks.
