Cathy Carey shared her love of Gaelic Games, her determination, courage and strength as she discussed her role as captain of Antrim Ladies Gaelic Football Association today. She described how you play the way you practice, encouraging us to kick the ball, join a Gaelic club, or go for a run to build our strength and inner core. She acknowledged her appreciation to the many club and county coaches, who gave their time to motivate and inspire. She also described the commitment her family made to ensure she could achieve her dream. Cathy inspired us to be the best we can be, both on and off of the pitch. We thank her for sharing her experiences, for allowing us to see the silverware first hand and we wish her every success in her future career. #gaafamily
