Moneynick is bursting at the seams with talent. Today our Girls’ Cross Country team travelled to Mallusk Playing Fields to support their teammate who qualified as one of County Antrim’s top six individuals. This was the season’s end of year event, with a thousand girls whittled down to the last seventeen teams and highest individual qualifiers.
On a beautiful Spring day, she ran with determination and strength to achieved her personal best, placing 39th overall. What an achievement!
Sport is an important part of life in school, both in the curricular and extra-curricular programme. The children are well supported by their coaches, parents and classmates. This makes a difference.
A well deserved treat on the return journey was welcomed by all.
