A selection of our pupils recited Prose today at the new festival category ‘Prepared Reading’.

Reading with grace, intonation and expression the characters and scenes from each books came to life, impressing the judges with this new skill. Our pupils had a very successful day with the top three places claimed by Moneynick pupils. Our winner will enjoy her well earned ‘Elizabeth McCann Award’ of a £50 book token, honouring a festival volunteer who loved reading.
Tomorrow the category continues with four more representatives and we wish them good luck!
