A massive congratulations to our Primary 1 pupil who was highly commended in the Bank of Ireland Open Farm Competition. This year’s school’s competition theme, ‘supporting local produce in Northern Ireland’ provided the opportunity to raise awareness amongst pupils on the origin of food and the all-important role that farming families play in society, producing food to feed a growing population, caring for the countryside, providing employment, supporting rural communities and the economy.
A massive 17,000 entries were submitted and we are delighted with our pupil’s success. #takefive #keeplearning⭐️
