Birds of Prey

Ian Patterson visited Moneynick today with his birds of prey. He brought Tyto (Night Hunter) and Alba the Barn Owls, Fluffy the Wood Owl and Bill the Kestrel.

Ian told us all about the habitats of these birds, what they like to eat and how they hunt for food. There were some very brave Moneynick pupils (and staff) who volunteered to hold the birds. We learned a lot of new information today about our environment and how we can contribute to looking after it - it was great fun!
