Catholic Schools' Week 2023

Catholic Schools Week 2023 begins on Sunday 22 January and will be extended to Tuesday 31 January.

Reflecting on the theme, and on the process of synodality, Catholic Schools Week 2023 identified three features of synodality helpful to exploring ‘Walking Together in Faith & Love’:

• Communion
• Participation
• Mission

The resources will reflect on these features within the overarching theme and will make use of scriptural reflection on journey, prayer, student voice, and (spiritual) wellbeing.

Daily Themes:

Monday 23 January: Walking Together in Faith

Tuesday 24 January: Walking Together in Love in our school community

Wednesday 25 January: Walking Together to Celebrate our Grandparents - Celebrating those who help us on the journey of faith, themes of inclusion of the elderly in society 

Thursday 26 January: Walking Together to Transform our World -Themes of Environment – Laudato Si’ – and Mission

Friday 27 January: Walking Together in Hope

Monday 30 January: The Spirit of Catholic Education Award - Saint Mary's University Belfast

Tuesday 31 January: Grandparents' Day Assembly at 10am
