The sun shone this afternoon, as we proudly celebrated receiving the Cumann na mBunscol National Small School of the Year award 2026. We were delighted to welcome our parents, families, friends, club and county representatives, our sponsors and distinguished guests from across Ireland. This included representatives from South West Aontroim CNMB, Fidelma Ní Shioradáin, Secretary of National Cumann na mBunscol, Joe Finegan from CJ Fallon the proud sponsors of our National Award and Aine Bradley, education advisor of CCMS.
Our talented pupils entertained everyone with Irish music, song and rhyme before taking the celebrations outdoors, where they showcased their skills across all four codes.
A special edition of our first pupil voice newsletter was distributed at our celebration, which contained written accounts from our Primary 7 pupils, Irish mythology, language and lots of photos capturing our living vision and ethos. Thank you to all of our generous sponsors, for allowing us to consolidate our provision.
