Ten years ago this month we held our first Joint Fun Sports Day with Duneane Primary School. We decided to hold a celebration event and so we invited our governors, local community, businesses, local MLAs from all parties, the Department of Education, the Council for Catholic Maintained Schools and the Education Authority. We had a full house!
After the visitors had watched the children play outside in the sunshine in their mixed teams, the principals made a presentation to them in the hall. They shared the journey so far, towards the Shared Campus. The guests were very impressed with the behaviour of all of our pupils and enjoyed listening to the story of the Shared Campus.
Thank you to the staff in both schools who helped out in preparation for today, especially Mrs Mallon and thank you to the many guests who came along and showed their support for Duneane & Moneynick: Partners in Learning! We all thoroughly enjoyed the day.
