To mark the Centenary of Our Lady of Lourdes Church Moneyglass, today we made a visit to the Church. We spent this afternoon identifying the bible stories, discussing our local saints and truly admiring the colour and detail of each individual window. The workmanship is still as amazing today as it was 100 years ago. What beauty! To ensure that all generations are involved, during the coming weeks the children will produce art work which will be displayed in Our Lady of Lourdes Church Moneyglass during the celebrations.
The Parish Pastoral Council are holding a meeting in Toome House tonight 14 November, to listen to memories or receive any pictures that the members of the Community may have. Everyone is most welcome.
