Today over half of our pupils boarded the bus to Toome, excited at the return of our signature ‘Club Thursday’ after school programme at Erin’s Own Cargin GAC! They enjoyed a range of activities which ensured there was something for everyone.
Mrs Rachel Neeson coached camogie/hurling skills on the astroturf, developing their control, handling and striking technique complemented by Cargin’s newly installed ‘Ball Wall’ .
Mrs Niamh McKeever encouraged our pupils to refine their Gaelic football strategies including catching, kicking and passing. Developing their teamwork they enhanced their skills during matches.
Mrs Veronica Craig led our Primary 1-2 pupils in fun activities including a bean bag race, ‘Queenio Queenio’ and free play.
