Coding Lessons
Today our pupils used our ever-growing range of ICT resources to explore rich ICT learning opportunities at our school in a variety of fun and meaningful ways.
We programmed our Bee-Bots, Loti Bots and spheroes using brand-new bespoke maps linked to our themes. This encouraged the use of instructional and positional language and provided the foundations for coordinates through playfulness and exploration!
Through the addition of multiple new iPads, our pupils used Minecraft Education to follow their brief to construct architectural wonders of the world combining STEM, History, Geography and Design & Technology.
Pupils accessed platforms like Scratch and Just2Easy, on our Surface Pros and Interactive Promethean Boards, to develop sequencing, logic and digital creativity skills.
An accumulation of investment by our Friends of Moneynick, successful applications grant and community contributions in high-quality digital resources. A special thank you to our friends at Kerrs Signs for the beautiful custom mats that made today’s learning experience even more interactive and enjoyable.
