Congratulations to the Primary 7 pupils who received the Sacrament of Confirmation this afternoon in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Moneyglass. The readings, prayers and responses were exceptional, while the music and singing from our joint choir gracefully lead by Mr Michael Boyd, added a special touch to a beautiful ceremony. Thank you to our parents, sponsors and staff for your role in preparing the children to receive their sacrament. Thank you to Canon McWilliams and Deacon Whyte for their guidance and prayers throughout the ceremony. Final thanks to Frances the Sacristan and Mrs Mary Downey who decorated the church with exceptional floral displays.
As a school community we are very proud of our Primary 7 children and we hope they had a lovely evening with their families.
