Our Primary 6/7 class have been developing their map skills by learning about coordinates and compass points. Using maps, pupils practised locating places using grid references and directions such as North, South, East and West.
This activity helped link learning across the curriculum, connecting our current World Around Us theme with Numeracy. By using real maps and problem-solving tasks, the class worked together to navigate locations, follow directions and understand how coordinates help us find places accurately.
