Gathering vocabulary through their experience, pictures and artefacts, Primary 1/2/3 created a bank of words to compose a collective piece of creative writing. Discussing with their peers they decide on the words which best described ‘Snowdrops’. They composed and recited the first draft of their poem and then went on to revise and edit their piece. Charcoal sketches and chalk drawings deepened their appreciation of the delicate and beautiful flower. We had a busy morning connecting areas of the curriculum! Maith sibh!
