Congratulations to our hurlers who reached the final of the SW Antrim Cumann na mBunscol Indoor Hurling Shield today at Antrim Forum.
They played 6 games in their group stages, securing a place in the shield, making it to the final, where the boys played their hearts out. At full time and after extra-time, it was still all square! Penalties followed and after five we were still drawn with Saint Brigid’s Ballymena. The next score in penalties wins rule was applied and we just missed out.
The boys showed amazing strength, determination, resilience and skill. They did themselves, school and clubs proud.
