During numeracy this week our Primary 4/5 pupils have been refining their understanding of fractions. Using resources such as images, Numicon and Lego our pupils used their maths eyes to construct fractions. Working in pairs, they captured photos of their fractions and used the app PicCollage to create collages of their work. Lessons which combine areas of the curriculum allow our pupils to make connections ensuring learning is more meaningful. Well done on displaying excellent ICT skills as well as applying mathematical concepts.
