This morning we launched our GAA 5 Star Centre Initiative. The sun was shining and the staff had their sleeves rolled up! We began with a talk in the hall by Mrs Mallon, explaining what the initiative involves. Then we moved outside and began our warm-up activities.
The children worked in their classes and moved around various activities that had been selected from the ‘Have a Ball’ section! This involved fundamentals movement; balancing, running, catching, throwing, crawling, moving and being creative. We had a lot of fun!
The GAA 5 Star Centre Initiative is well underway. Look out fitness- here we come!
