๐๐ฒGarden Show Ireland Scarecrow Avenue 2025๐ซ๐
14th Jun 2025
The pupils of Moneynick Primary School have showcased remarkable creativity and teamwork at Garden Show Ireland.
Using old plant pots and a vintage bike, they crafted a unique masterpiece that earned the title of 'Most Imaginative Scarecrow on Show'. They also entered the 'Scared Crow' which added an extra dimension to the term scarecrow.
They designed a scene inspired by the new Minecraft Movie for the Wheelbarrow Competition. Handmade clay models and brightly coloured flowers brought their world to life!
Outstanding achievements for a fantastic group of young eco-warriors passionately led by Mrs Veronica Craig and Mrs Margaret O’Neill. Our pupil representatives had a great time at the show today, purchasing resources for our school with their winnings.
Our Minecraft inspired Wheelbarrow, Mrs Potts and Scared Crow will return home to our community garden in the coming days.
