Over the last number of days, our pupils have been spending time on the Heartstart programme. Five of the staff in Moneynick are Heartstart trained and deliver the programme to our pupils. The children have been learning all about how to help others in a medical emergency. Have a look at our photographs and you will see all the skills they have learned. The children in Y6&7 even know how to perform CPR!
We believe it is important that Moneynick pupils learn these valuable life skills. They could help to save someone's life some day. We revise our Heartstart skills every year in Term 3, to ensure that by the time they leave primary school, our pupils are confident and competent in Heartstart.
