We have started our own ‘Watch Out, Hedgehogs About’ Campaign. Over the next few weeks our native mammals will be moving through our hedges and along our fields looking for their new winter home. We ask you be aware of their nocturnal habits and think about them as you move along our country roads. We have added a number of hedgehog homes to our school environment hoping to provide a safe and warm shelter for our autumnal friends. Primary 4/5 have made persuasive posters to highlight our campaign and today Primary 1 pupils made neon hedgehogs to remind us that our local species are camouflaged in their environment, unlike their artistic sculptures.
