There are times in our lives when we watch from the sidelines as history is made on the pitch. Today our girls amazed the sidelines as they scored goals, scored penalties and progressed through to the final of the inaugural Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council Schools’ Soccer Cup. Playing a strong opponent (Saint Mary’s on the Hill) the girls lifted the cup, winning 1:0. We are truly honoured to have such talented pupils, girls who can transfer skills across codes and disciplines, girls who display the true meaning of teamwork and strength. Wow!
