Primary 1 and 2 linked their learning to their theme “Brrrr it’s Cold” with a fun hot vs cold day of learning 🔥❄️
They created a lifesized Venn diagram, sorting objects and then designing their own using animals and the climates they live in. Explored tinker boxes to design and build our own clocks, linking to our current Maths theme and then experimented with hot and cold shades of colour! They also built words with magnetic letters and practised typing skills on the laptops.
We finished off with a penguin story and then had our very own penguin huddle to keep warm! 🐧
