We celebrated St. Patrick, our patron saint, with our annual ‘Green Day’. The children dressed in green, played Irish bingo learning numbers in Irish throughout the games. They ran the Emerald Mile and lead many of our national dances. Learning the story of Saint Patrick and locating Slemish on the map of Ireland allowed our pupils to understand the importance of why we celebrate our National Saint.
