Today Aodhán met with the eco- committee to discuss the installation of our new polytunnel. A Live Here, Love Here Grant of £2,200 paid for the installation of the polytunnel, new tools and a variety of plants and seedlings. The eco-warriors explained how they planned the project. They discussed how they had prepared the ground prior to installation, purchased tools, planted and grown the vegetables. Aodhán was very impressed with our vegetable crop and the abundance and size of our strawberries. We are well on our way to achieving our fourth eco flag next Spring.
