Today we surveyed the school grounds for minibeasts. This marked the beginning of their 'Minibeast' project. The project will focus on the importance of minibeasts, bugs and birds in the process of pollination. Over the coming weeks we will be installing and revisiting bug hotels, logs, bird and bat boxes to encourage wildlife. We are also adding planters and trees to encourage wildlife to visit our garden. Every four weeks we will review our findings and discuss the various strategies that encourage wildlife both big and small to habitat our natural environment. #RSPB #LiveHereLoveHere
