We extend a massive thank you to Moyola and Toome Credit Union Ltd for their generous contribution towards our new nativity scene. Saint Francis of Assisi created the very first nativity scene in 1223 in an effort to promote the true meaning of Christmas and worship of Jesus Christ. His idea caught on, and soon a new Christmas tradition was born. Our new nativity scene will adorn the front of our school for many years and is the beginning of a new tradition for the pupils and staff of Moneynick Primary School.
