Despite the weather, Outdoor Classroom Day was a roaring success, linking literacy, numeracy and theme to outdoor learning and play. Primary 1 pupils enjoyed exploring repeating patterns whilst Primary 2 and 3 pupils built high frequency words using magnetic letters. Together the infants then gathered leaves to create beautiful collages. Primary 4 and 5 pupils worked in pairs to find objects taller than and smaller than 1 metre. Through solid team work, creativity and problem solving, Primary 7 pupils crossed the imaginary ocean in their 'unsinkable' boats! We hope you enjoy the photos!
