💧 Outdoor Learning 💧
11th Jun 2025
The United Nations International Day of Play took place today Wednesday 11 June - a day to celebrate the power of play in supporting children’s health and well-being.
Play has a critical role in schools - supporting curriculum delivery, enhancing learning, and helping children reach their full potential. Play is every child’s right, and is essential for building happy, healthy children.
Today Primary 4 connected their maths to outdoor learning and playfulness. Measuring capacity they explored mathematical language and enhanced the conversion of mls into metres and vice-versa.
Outdoor Learning + resources = amazing maths lessons.
