We captured the sun today as we spent time learning outdoors. We explored Carroll, Venn and Tree Diagrams as we sorted items into sets. Taking any lesson outdoors, refreshes the subject and is an enjoyable experience. Learning maths outdoors allows children to transfer classroom learning to the outdoors, but also for them to take this outdoor learning back into the classroom and apply it there. When we returned to the classroom we discussed our learning and we will continue to apply our knowledge to written examples throughout the coming weeks. We also took time to plant sunflower seeds, waiting on the summer. #summervibes
