Today we were honoured to be joined by two past pupils, Iona Maguire and Tiernagh Mullin to kick off Cumann na mBunscol Aontroima Week 2026.
The girls and their teams were recently crowned Ulster and All Ireland Bronze LGFA champions. An outstanding achievement for their families, clubs and we take some pride here in Moneynick too! These girls were both indoor and outdoor South West Antrim and All Country Champions, 1/3 of the historic first ever Moneynick team represented in an Ulster final! We knew these girls were destined for amazing things!
Our pupils asked about everything from breakfast to training regimes, hardest opponents to 5 year goals, learning lots about the dedication and effort required to play and win at county level. Thank you to both girls for taking the time to visit us. It meant so much to our pupils and we can’t wait to see what their next amazing achievements are!
