This week our pupils are diving into the concept of perimeter! We’re learning how to measure the distance around various shapes by adding up the lengths of their sides.
Using practical resources including Geoboards, Numicon, Lego and online platforms, our Primary 4/5 pupils have consolidated this important mathematical concept! Whether it’s squares, rectangles, or triangles, understanding perimeter relates to real-life maths including building fences or designing rooms.
