Primary 2/3 explored the concept of doubling by taking maths beyond the classroom walls. Using natural objects like sticks, stones and leaves, they created visual doubles to reinforce their understanding of number through concrete, hands-on learning. The pupils then applied their understanding using interactive ICT games, bridging outdoor exploration with digital learning. This lesson supported quick recall while promoting reasoning, problem-solving and the ability to connect ideas across contexts. The combination of physical manipulation and technology made for an engaging lesson. Well done Primary 2 and 3!
