This term, our Primary 4/5 pupils are exploring the theme 'Houses and Homes' — and what better way to begin than by looking at a place they know so well: our very own school grounds!
To kick off the topic, Mrs McKeever challenged the class with the creative task to become young cartographers! 🗺️
Pupils created detailed maps of our school, carefully considering aspect, positioning and ratio to accurately document the infrastructure that makes our school unique. This hands-on project helped them connect real-world environments with key geographical and mathematical skills, all while laying the foundation for deeper learning around homes and communities.
We can’t wait to see where their curiosity takes them next! 🧭✨
