To celebrate the end of their theme 'Houses and Homes', Primary 4/5 have been busy researching, designing and creating their own unique homes, drawing inspiration from architecture rooted in their personal experiences, media sources such as movies and homes around the world.
Using natural and recycled materials, they engineered architectural masterpieces that are truly outstanding. The creativity, problem-solving and detail on display was incredible!
To link their learning across the curriculum, pupils also designed PowerPoint presentations to complement their final pieces. They successfully used the recording tool in the PowerPoint app to confidently discuss their projects, share their inspiration and reflect on the barriers they faced during the creative process and how they overcame them. A wonderful opportunity to develop digital skills and forms of communication.💻
