During their theme Weather Watchers, Primary 4/5 had a fantastic lesson combining their classroom learning with exploring the world beyond our walls. With the help of Mr Close, our student teacher from St Mary’s Teaching College, the children became real-life weather watchers!
Working in groups, they investigated different aspects of the weather, measuring temperature, rainfall and wind speed using a variety of methods and equipment. The pupils displayed great teamwork and curiosity as they gathered their data and discovered how scientists observe the weather.
It looked like such great fun and was a brilliant hands on learning experience. Well done, P4/5! 👏🌈
