Our Primary 6/7 pupils used natural resources to create graphs and charts outdoors. From collecting and categorising materials to labelling axes and plotting results, pupils engaged deeply with the Handling Data strand of the mathematics curriculum. They then applied their understanding through an active, outdoor problem-solving challenge that encouraged analysis, reasoning, and teamwork. This lesson strengthened numeracy and communication skills while displaying how mathematical thinking is woven through the world around them.
