A STAR Moneynick pupil played on Sunday in Croke Park, in the 'Mini Sevens Go Games' at half time of the Senior All Ireland Hurling Final. Waterford Girls (the team on which she played) played against Cork Girls. Our Moneynick pupil wore the Waterford colours and received the complimentary kit to take home. Before the game, she and her relatives met with GAA officials from Croke Park, was shown around the stadium and had lunch while meeting other pupils representing all 32 counties in Ireland. An opportunity of a lifetime for this rising star to play in Croke Park. Her daddy and Uncle Ciaran were so proud of her. Mrs Mallon managed to make it to the match also and luckily took a few snaps!
