We were delighted to welcome back our Roots of Empathy “tiny teacher”, baby Annie and her mum.
Baby Annie has grown so much since her last visit and our pupils were amazed by all the wonderful milestones she has achieved. From her palmar grasp and transferring objects, to her babbling and rolling over on our green blanket, it was a joy and a privilege to witness these special moments. Her beautiful smile lit up the hall!
Our Primary 4/5 class sang Annie’s favourite song, 'You Are My Sunshine', along with some Irish nursery rhymes.
We are already looking forward to welcoming our tiny teacher back again soon. A heartfelt thank you to Annie’s family for allowing our Primary 4/5 class to be part of such a special and memorable journey during her first year.
