The Wild Challenge award is a specially developed suite of activities for schools to engage children with nature and provide practical learning opportunities. Wild Challenge provides a perfect framework for learning and is open to all ages and abilities.
It enabled our pupils to apply curriculum knowledge and skills, as well as develop their resilience and sense of agency through outdoor learning.
There were 24 activities to choose from, each helping children to connect with and learn about nature. To achieve each level we had to complete 6 activities, therefore to achieve our gold award we had to complete 18 of the 24 activities.
We are delighted to announce that we have completed 20 of the activities and have successfully achieved our Gold Award. An amazing achievement for our school community.
