To mark Cumann na mBunscol Week 2024 Moneynick Primary School hosted the first South West Aontroim Cumann na mBunscol Rounders Day in Erin’s Own Cargin, a fitting venue, a club steeped in Rounders history. From the mighty Glens to the shores of Lough Neagh the children pitched and batted, hitting the bases for team success. Mr Seamus McMullan, Chairperson of Aontroim GAA joined the morning session, supporting the pupils from Con Magees who attend Mary Queen of Peace, Glenravel. Mr Gary Farrell, President of National Cumann na mBunscol Ireland joined us during the evening session. He presented a special jersey to each of the afternoon teams. We have ignited a new found love for the code of Rounders.⭐️
