Spirit of Catholic Education Award 2024

Today Moneynick Primary School were blessed and honoured to receive the ‘Spirit of Catholic Education Award’ with distinction for the second year from the Down and Connor Diocese. Our school is aware that promoting the values of environmental responsibility and the message of Laudato Sí is a continuous and ever evolving aspect of school life. We are clearly committed to the values of Catholic education and our outstanding work and commitment to Pope Francis’ Beatitude “Blessed are those who protect and care for our common home” is at the core of our Catholic ethos. Pupils and staff had a lovely morning at Saint Mary’s University College and we were privileged that Father James O’Reilly joined us to celebrate this outstanding achievement. A proud day for our school community, parish and parishioners during Catholic Schools’ Week.
