Today our Primary 4-7 boys’ Gaelic teams competed in the St Patrick’s College Castle Cup Tournament at Watty Graham’s GAC. Each team played skilful and determined Gaelic and were placed top at the group stages and progressed to the quarterfinals. Team B played a gallant game however narrowly missed out overcome by a strong St Brigid’s Tirkane Team who were succeeded by our A Team in the Semi-finals. Facing Glen in the final on their home ground our boys played to an outstanding standard and were victorious, lifting the Shield during our first year at the tournament. We wish to thank all those involved for their hospitality and organisation of the events of both Tuesday and Thursday. Congratulations to every member of both our teams who represented their school, families and clubs with pride. A special shoutout to Coach McKeever who has shown true commitment and dedication throughout this year, coaching, celebrating and strengthening all our pupils. Moneynick abú! 💙💚
